What is searchable
Only vessels that have a page here, which means ships that reported emissions under EU MRV and have enough data to say something useful. A ship that has never called at a European port will not be found, however large it is.
Names change. A ship sold and renamed keeps its IMO number for life, so the number is the reliable way to find a specific hull. Searching an old name may still work, because the register records names as reported in each year's return.
